The Eckmühle is a special place in the hiking paradise of Ehrbachklamm in the Hunsrück. Located directly on one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the region, it is the perfect stop for hikers, day-trippers, families, cyclists, and nature lovers who want to enjoy a relaxing break in a beautiful environment.
Since May 2026, the Eckmühle has been run with a lot of passion and fresh ideas. The goal is to create a place where people come together, enjoy nature, and simply have a good time. Hospitality, a casual atmosphere, and genuine well-being are at the heart of it all. At the Eckmühle, it's all informal – uncomplicated, warm, and relaxed.
In the modern beer garden and the stylishly designed interiors, nature, enjoyment, and good vibes come together. Relaxing music accompanies guests throughout the day, making the Eckmühle a place where one loves to linger – whether after a hike, for a family outing, or just for a few enjoyable hours with friends.
Culinary offerings cater to every taste: from creative sandwiches to popular classics, as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes. There's also coffee, delicious cakes, ice cream, and occasionally freshly baked waffles. Various freshly tapped draft beers and non-alcoholic alternatives provide the perfect refreshment.
Families are also well catered for. Right next to the beer garden, a small play area invites children to have fun, and for little nature explorers, the gnome "Ecki," who lives in a tree at the Eckmühle, has exciting tasks and little adventures ready for them. Of course, rewards are included. 
Four-legged friends are also warmly welcomed. Fresh water and treats are always available.
Besides the beer garden, the Eckmühle is also a unique event location. The spacious event tent offers the perfect setting for weddings, birthdays, corporate celebrations, and many other events in the midst of nature.
