Rathausstraße 18, 56348 Bornich
A church that is open outside of service times offers a space of silence to which one can retreat. It offers protection from noise and unrest. It invites you to take a seat and come to rest. If you have some leisure beyond that, take a look around this place of worship. The church of Bornich was not insignificant in the Middle Ages. It was the mother church of Patersberg and St.Goarshausen, which separated from it only around 1400 and 1427, respectively. Nothing is known about the time of construction. The building combines various stylistic elements, including Romanesque, early Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. Unfortunately, we do not know more about its origin.
