Once upon a time… a time when poets, thinkers, and ladies strolled up to Kloppberg. They followed the moat, which was lined with an illustrious garden. There, the shadows of the trees fell on winding paths, lush flowerbeds were fragrant, and visitors praised the magnificent view of the romantic Rhine Valley. At the top, a picturesque castle ruin stood proudly. Hermann Faber, a notary in the town, created the garden around the medieval masonry and set out a guestbook. The first entry dates back to 1826. In the tower room of the castle, there is a small exhibition in memory of the former visitors.
