The Rhine promenade invites visitors to enjoy the water at its numerous restaurants and cafés. From here, there is a fantastic view downstream of Schloss Marienfels, Haus Ernich, and the Seven Mountains, as well as the Erpeler Ley on the opposite Rhine bank. The Caracciola Square commemorates the racing driver Rudolf Caracciola, born in Remagen, and his grandfather, the wine merchant and former owner of the Fürstenberg Hotel, Otto Caracciola.
