At an elevation of 220 m above sea level, lies the wine-growing municipality of Nochern. Its area covers 731 hectares, of which 234 hectares are forest (about 32%) and 22 hectares are vineyards (about 3%).

Nochern is located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley and has experienced a tourist enhancement since the opening of the Rhine Trail.

The Rhine Trail hut on the slopes of the Nocherner Brünnchen, as the vineyard site is called, invites hikers and guests to linger. You can explore natural hiking trails and enjoy wonderful views around Nochern.
