Wildpark Rolandseck

Am Kasselbach 4, 53424 Remagen-Rolandseck

The Rolandseck Wildlife Park is located 10 km south of Bonn on the Rhine, above the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck with a magnificent panorama of the Rhine and the Siebengebirge.
The wildlife park covers an area of about 350,000 m² in a hilly, partly gorgeous landscape. It is largely left in its natural state, with old trees and wildlife areas created within them. The footpaths are unpaved, partly bumpy and should be walked with caution on sloping sections. Native wild animals such as red deer, fallow deer, mouflon, wild boar as well as some domestic breeds such as sheep, goats, donkeys, ponies, highland cattle and rabbits can be seen. These live largely under natural conditions on extensive areas with retreats to more secluded resting areas. Wild boar and highland cattle are separated by fences, the other game species can be observed freely from the hiking trails. Leaving the paths is not permitted, both for your own protection and to protect the game. A shady forest playground with various huts, climbing trees and a trampoline is also available for children. A barbecue area can be rented.
