Christoph Soldan, artistic director of the Bacharacher
Master Concerts has been traveling worldwide as a pianist, conductor, and reciter for 35 years.
At the beginning of his career in 1988, he had a
joint tour with Leonard Bernstein, who expressed himself
as follows about the artist: “I am impressed by
the spiritual greatness of this young musician.” For the Beethoven - year
2027, Christoph Soldan has selected a program where he
reads from the correspondence of Beethoven
with Josephine Countess von Deym together with Nadine Oberender and plays 3 famous piano sonatas
by Ludwig van Beethoven. However, this reading concert also addresses the question of who really was the recipient of his
famous love letter with the greeting “My angel, my
everything, my self”.
