Bacharacher Meister-Konzert - "Haydn - Brahms"

Zsuzsa Kollár, born in Budapest, studied at the Franz Liszt Music Academy under Prof. Jenő Jandó. In 1986, she was a prize winner at the ARD Competition in Munich. Subsequently, she recorded several pieces for radio in Munich, Saarbrücken, Hamburg, and Frankfurt. From 1982 to 1987, she was a student of Prof. Alfons Kontarsky at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich and at the Mozarteum Salzburg. Zsuzsa Kollár has produced numerous CD recordings for the labels NAXOS, Hungaroton, and Koch-Schwann, in which she recorded works by Mozart, Schubert, Reger, Koessler, Moór, and Seiber. She is one of the founders of a group of Hungarian musicians dedicated to contemporary music. A number of compositions have been interpreted by Zsuzsa Kollár as world premieres, and she is regularly invited by Hungarian radio as a piano artist. In Bacharach, she will juxtapose the works of Joseph Haydn with compositions by Johannes Brahms.
