"Best of Ahrtal" reading with Daniel Robbel
Albert-Mertes-Str. 11, 53498 Bad Breisig
Funny, quirky, and often thought-provoking – the Ahr Valley is full of stories that life itself has written. The Ahr Valley writer and journalist Daniel Robbel has listened closely, looked carefully, and collected: anecdotes, legends, small everyday observations, and great narratives from a region that is as diverse as it is charming.
From this treasure trove, the books “111 Places in the Ahr Valley You Must See” and “Myths and Legends from the Ahr Valley” have emerged, among others. In addition, Robbel has written numerous short stories, essays, and thousands of newspaper articles – always with a fine sense for the extraordinary in the everyday.
On April 17, 2026, at 7 p.m., he will present the most beautiful of these stories live on stage: In his reading “Best of Ahr Valley,” Robbel offers an entertaining mix of humor, curiosities, and contemplative moments. With a wink and a keen sense of regional color, he invites his audience on a literary journey through the Ahr Valley.
The event will take place in the bistro of the Römer-Thermen in Bad Breisig – a fitting location for an enjoyable evening, as refreshments will also be provided.
Due to the special atmosphere, the number of participants is limited to 50 seats. Tickets are available exclusively at the box office for 15.00 euros.
An evening for all who love the Ahr Valley – or wish to discover it anew.
