On Sunday, August 9, the legendary dachshund race will take place in our local community for the fifth time.

From 12 to 6 p.m., everything revolves around the grill hut in Waldesch under the motto: "Everything for the dachshund, everything for the club!"

Of course, this year the Nature Day is also integrated into the unique event in Rhineland-Palatinate.

For young and old - and of course also for the four-legged friends - in addition to the exciting races, there will be plenty to offer.

Delicious wild sausages from the grill, refreshing drinks, as well as coffee and cake will ensure well-being. Wildlife specimens,

a beekeeper stand, a purebred dog show, and many other attractions provide a varied supporting program.

The popular tombola "Who is the fastest dachshund?" should not be missed, of course. Numerous attractive

prizes await the ladies, gentlemen, and their four-legged friends.

The starting signal for the race is at 3:00 p.m. A total of 45 starting places are available. Furthermore, this year the visibility of the racetrack will be improved again.
