The Koblenz Summer Open Air Cinema takes place every year on the banks of the Rhine and Moselle rivers.

This year, it will open its gates from August 14 to August 24, 2025, offering a mix of blockbusters, classics, and current films once again. The setting by the water with a view of the Deutsches Eck creates a special atmosphere.

In addition to the rows of seats, five VIP tents with cozy sofas and catering service are being offered. The concept is being implemented with the help of numerous sponsors who are committed to Koblenz and the cultural cinema. For the first time, the ticket can also be used for public transport. In cooperation with the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Mosel GmbH, a special combined ticket has been developed for this purpose.

Each of the eleven cinema days will start at 6:00 PM with a musical pre-program featuring regional artists. Local food stalls will take care of the culinary needs. The film will begin after the musical introduction at dusk.

The city marketing team is collaborating with the University of Social Design for the first time. On one evening, the film "Vena" will be shown together. This new cooperation aims to promote the exchange between the urban community, academia, and culture. The screening of "Vena" will be digitally accompanied by the director and will provide an opportunity for conversation and exchange with guests from the university and the city.

Tickets can be purchased at both the Ticket Regional sales stations and online. Until July 31, 2025, tickets for the classic seating area are available at Early Bird prices.
