Ready for the island?On May 31 and September 27, the time has come again: Set sail for the Mouse Tower Island!The journey starts on May 31 and September 27 at 11 a.m. from the Binger Kulturufer, from where you will take a boat to the Mouse Tower Island. A total of 6 crossings will be offered on both dates.On the ship, you will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine or juice and a pretzel. On the island, you will be warmly received by the Bingen tour guides who will then lead you around the island and into the tower.During this time, you will learn exciting stories and interesting backgrounds about the tower and its history. After climbing the tower, you will have a magnificent view of the Middle Rhine Valley and Bingen. After an hour, you will return to the Kulturufer with unforgettable impressions.The ticket costs €34 per person: Included in the ticket price are: A glass of sparkling wine or grape juice, a pretzel, the boat trip, and the guided tour of the Mouse Tower Island. Children up to 2 years old travel for free.Did you know?Many exciting tales and legends surround the Mouse Tower – the most famous tells of the heartless Mainz Bishop Hatto, who was supposedly eaten by mice. However, the actual history is fascinating: From the medieval customs station to the signaling station for ship traffic, the tower has a turbulent past. We will set sail on May 31 and September 27 at 11 AM from the Binger Kulturufer, from where we will travel by ship to the Mouse Tower Island. On both dates, a total of 6 crossings will be offered.
On the ship, you will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine or juice and a pretzel. On the island, the Binger tour guides will warmly greet you and then guide you over the island and into the tower.
Along the way, you will hear exciting stories and interesting backgrounds about the tower and its history. After climbing the tower, you will have a wonderful view of the Middle Rhine Valley and Bingen. After an hour, you will return to the Kulturufer with unforgettable impressions.
The ticket costs 34 € per person: Included in the ticket price are: A glass of sparkling wine or grape juice, a pretzel, the boat ride, and the guided tour of the Mouse Tower Island. Children up to 2 years old travel for free.
