Open Wine Cellar

On December 5 & 6, we open our wine cellar – uncomplicated & right in Boppard.
Just stop by, take a look, taste, and discover: In our old vaulted cellar, modern stainless steel tanks stand next to traditional wooden barrels. Work is done here, our wines are aging here – and this weekend, you can take a look behind the scenes.
Meet the winemaker. Taste the wines.
Joachim will, of course, be there. He will pour, present his wines, and tell what is currently happening in the cellar, why one wine is matured in stainless steel and another in a wooden barrel, and what makes a vintage special.
And because an open wine cellar can also evoke a bit of curiosity, he will open some special bottles that are not available for tasting every day.
This is explicitly not a classic wine tasting with a fixed start time. You decide for yourself when to come, what you want to try, and how long to stay.
No registration, no fixed program – just drop by between 2 and 6 p.m.
Wine for Christmas – or for loved ones
At the beginning of December, the question arises anyway: What goes into the glass at Christmas?
With us, you can taste our selection and calmly choose the wine that fits your Christmas dinner, for toasting with family, or for the cozy days between the years.
And of course, wine makes a wonderful gift. We are happy to put together beautiful gifts for you – from a single wine to a selection for people you would like to make happy.
