These two wonderful artists come from Armenia and completed their studies in Yerevan with their concert exams and soloist diplomas before finishing their training at the Hanover University of Music: Sarah in the fields of chamber music and song accompaniment, and Artashes in violin and orchestral conducting. The duo, named after the Greek muse Calliope, has since been a welcome guest at renowned festivals such as the International Chamber Music Festival Böblingen, the "Havelländische Musikfestspiele," the "Più Piano" in Italy, the "Festival de Música Sant Pere de Rodes" in Spain, and the "Chopin Associatie Vlaanderen VZW." They have produced several CDs since 2007. Recently, the duo received invitations to perform with the Philharmonie Sibiu (Romania) and in Vienna. In the master concerts in Bacharach, the duo presents works by Corelli, Schumann, Wagner, Bartok, and Brahms.
